K i m b e r l y     Lang    Contemporary Artist

Kimberly Lang is a contemporary artist who creates figurative and abstract works in mixed media. Using a combination of painting, drawing, and sculpture, she creates experimental surfaces that teeter from somber quiet moments to chaotic dark expressions. She draws influences from Asian, African, and European culture and artifacts with a focus on identity, symbolism, and anthropomorphism.

Lang holds a BFA in Fine Art from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. She actively exhibits her work, which is held in corporate and private collections internationally. Corporate collections with her work include Abbott Laboratories, SC Johnson Wax, and the Maricourt Architectural Firm. Lang works full-time in her studio, located in Minneapolis.
